I just installed a transgo shift kit in my 07 5.9 cummins with the 48re automatic trans. What a pain in the ass. (I hate automatics now) During the installation I had to remove the TTVA to be able to drop the VB out of the trans. After everything was put back together, my truck shifts like its supposed to with a shift kit, and everything is great. I noticed though that I get the code p1754 (Transmission throttle valve actuator stuck). Also when i'm hauling anything above 9000lbs my truck can barley make it up any hills if i'm stopped before I get to the hill. Lets say i'm stopped at the bottom of a hill. If I try to go up the hill no matter how much gas i give the truck, it cant pull and it feels like the truck has absolutely no power. The engine revs up but I get no output to the wheels. On rare occasions, the truck will randomly get all its power back suddenly and lunge foward and take the hill like a champ. I also noticed that when the TTVA auto calibrates before starting the truck, it doesn't move. It is stuck, and I can hear a sound that sounds like if you put your had on a brushless motor to stop it and all you hear is the sound of the power running through it. The TTVA is also warm to the touch. I took a pair of pliers and the D shaped TTVA shaft rotates a little but the shaft that connects to the TTVA from the transmission doesn't budge at all. Has anyone else had this problem? Im posting on here before I have to rip into the trans again.
