It certainly gives a good low end punch. I would say the low boost fueling (due to fancy low boost fooling) distinguishes the V box from other pressure boxes. As for the timing function, I have been unable thus far to detect or measure the effect or benefit of the timing. it may work, but its benefit is so small it can't be measured with just you in the drivers's seat.
