From other threads, I gather it's ECM-imposed torque management rather than just spool-up-time turbo lag. Much debate here and elsewhere re whether and how it can be minimized/avoided. Some say a throttle sensitivity booster definitely fixes it, others say it definitely doesn't, some say it just improves it a bit. I gather (my truck not here yet) it's worst if you power-on, then back off, then power-on again. If so, I guess the message is He Who Hesitates Is Lost! Tramp it and (fingers crossed) go!
