Guess what I did??
I have been running my pm3 on kill all week. I did not have the boost elbow installed in turbo because I was looking for the little rubber tube that goes to the wastegate. ( I had removed it when I took the box off, and just plugged the port on the turbo).
Well I have been seeing boost pressures up to 45 psi. Today, the truck felt a little slower. I figured I better re-install the boost elbow. When i removed the turbo air intake tube, things didn't look right. The turbo feels tight for to aft , but rotationally, it is really tight. I had to force it more than usual to get it to spin.
I started truck up with intake hose off. It does spin. When I shut it down, the turbo stops immediately (in the time i can run around the hood and look). It has always been spinning down when I check it.
Is it going out??!
Which turbo shall i consider, piers 35 or his 40.
