I have an 2001 auto truck. At around 50k miles I noticed oil seeping from behind the turbo (intake side). I also have oil on the inside of the turbo, behind the silencer ring, and all over the blades, everywhere. I do run a K&N air filter. I am careful not to over oil it, and the engine is bone stock. Is it possible the oil on the inside of the turbo is from a internal leak or is it just coming off my filter?
I am about to take the truck to the dealer before my 7/70 expires.
Also, the reason I believe the oil is not from the air filter is because the air cleaner housing and tubing are always VERY CLEAN and DRY on the inside. NO OIL RESIDUE ANYWHERE.
Any way, just wanted to run this by you guys, thanks.
