I have read several post on this and today I pulled the turbo inlet hose off to check the blade as I had read that someones had fail.
In looking at the ring ( maybe I should have remove it and would have seen and not had to post)it reminded me of a wear ring on a impeller I know it's not a wear ring but the thought came to me . Has any one checked the cfm and psi between the output of the turbo and intercooler with the ring in and with the ring out. Wondering if the high pitch that some hear is high pressure air bypassing back to the intake side
I have been told and saw on the post several reason for removal just wondering which is correct
