I’ve been fighting putting this new turbo on broke a stud on the exhaust manifold and had to drill it out and tap it. I ended up just using a grade 10.9 bolt on it. It’s as tight as I can get but I’m a little worried that the gasket isn’t sealed all the way.

I know it's counter intuitive, but di you have the engine HOT when trying to remove the bolt? The heat expands and may be better to remove the bolts.

Others with more experience may chime in and share their knowledge.

I couldn’t start the truck so I had to heat it up with a torch but it snapped flush.

That won't work with that 10.9 bolt because it's not meant for that high temperatures.
I can tell you it will start to leak over time, not within the first run but after some hot cold cycles it will.
You need a distinct volt for that application.
