10,000+ lb. fifth-wheel too big for a 2500?

First gen springs for 10100gvw?

Just wondering if anyone has had luck with it. When my Dexter drums needed turning they also needed the magnet surface turned, the only place I found to do it was a machine shop, they wanted more than Dexter did for new drums.

95' 25004X4,AT,Driftwood,Banks Stinger,Warn fender flairs and running boards(work truck)
95 3500,5 speed 3:54,BD E-brake,Driftwood,Banks&Psycotty,34,000 GCVW apple and tractor hauler(works harder truck)

I just replaced the shoes and they were $13. 00 a pair, it may be cheaper to buy complete new brakes rather than buying individual pieces and paying for machine work!!!

illflem, I would guess that Barry can answer this question. I'm sure he will after the weekend is over.

I've found on electric brakes with RV's that it is easier to replace magnetic's, shoes, and drums than trying to fined someone to rework them. Plus you can have parts ready to do the R & R without having to make two trips to deliver and pickup. Don't know if local parts house's stock these parts (they should), but can always be found at an RV dealer.

IMHO and . 02 worth of words.

I've been able to get Dexter parts in one day though NAPA,but the drums I was replacing all had plenty of meat left on them, problem was finding someone to turn them.
