with the afc at wfo all the time my truck seems to make less power as i turn in the fuel screw

it smokes more

sounds different

but i think it is slowing down...

i do not have a dyno at this shop so i am going by seat of the pants

is this because i am already past the h1c's limits?

smokes more when? cruising or full power accelerating? my truck would smoke like a train with the h1c, newer turbo cleared it up and made a little more power.

it doesnt smoke at all cruising or idling, when i punch it it can fill the street curb to curb, then it tries to clean up

it was able to clean up better after green leafing the afc and with the fuel screw way out. as soon as i got to 2 turns in tho, it does not clean up as well and feels slower

more smoke does not always mean more power, does it?

don

no, a decent haze will usually light a turbo quicker than a clean exhaust, but if you're rolling a black tire fire out the pipe, you should probably tighten up the AFC... it'll probably light quicker
