Katoom,
What really bothers me is there are some good folks who are going to pay big because they don't get this is becoming serious. And, good, bad, or indifferent, public websites are just that, and folks should use caution what they post. It's entirely 0privacy violation if your private email get hacked or private phone conversations get taped.
Believe me, after spending 41 years working IT for the military, I was briefed a LOT about the vulnerabilities and liabilities of posting on the Internet. All should remember violating EPA laws is a crime, and folks may not understand the rules and allowances the law has for gathering evidence. Most folks posting on websites have no idea the potential vulnerabilities they have. We think of teens ruining there lives and reputations, not so... adults doing it too.
FWIW, In both criminal and civilian legal actions, posts on the Internet can be used as evidence both for and against you. I wonder how many folks have read the user agreements we all agreed to when posting on the Internet.
Sounds like we see this differently and that's OK to have civilized disagreement.
Cheers, Ron
