You are correct Don. The B1 is the one you can visibly see. Notice the wastegate actuater sticking up in the middle. This is different from the Holset actuater which would run parrallel with the engine instead of perpendicular like the B1 actuater.
The B1 turbine housing is better then any Holset I've seen. It's dual wastegated instead of a single wastegate. Even Pius at Bell Turbo gives this turbine housing VERY high marks.
Chris hits 60 psi with the comp in the off position and 80 with the comp on with this twin system. Temps are about 1300* wide open.
Next weekend there are two pulls we will be attending. Should be exciting to see how well Chris's engine performs. Last time he pulled was here in HMB. In the pull-off the sled was set for the quad engine tractor that had run last (it was maxed). Chris hooked up and pulled it 250' :--) :--) :--) Before Chris took off, the choker setter hookumupguy was cursing "That's not fair! They didn't reset the sled!!! He shouldn't. . have... . too... OMG"!

As it turned out, Chris took first place in the modified diesel class and Brad took an impressive second. Both trucks run B1 turbos
