Ok guys... your making me jealous. I really like the twin turbo idea. So if you don't mind... answer me this. As you know I have the PacBrake on my truck... so I'm limited to my HX-35 turbo. So what about running Twin HX-35's with either the 12cm2 or the 14cm2 housing? Do you think that this would show any improvement on performance and EGT's? Cause I know where I can get another HX-35 12cm2, but what about the hardware for linking these turbos together? Have any of you experimented with this?

Ok... no teasing me guys. . LOL (as I'm getting excited... ha ha ha)

Kev

HVAC... ... ..... but, where's the second battery?? #ad

Gentlemen, the adage that a picture is worth a thousand words rings ever so true.

What's the spool up time, Nowel?

hey wiz1, I AM GOING TO GET TWINS ON MY TRUCK. So if your system costs less than the others and still performs just as well then I WILL USE YOUR SYSTEM. I'm currently researching twins but getting info is a little difficult. In summary let me say this, if you develop a twin turbo system, I will buy it from you!

Hi, Love to have a set up like HVAC Just to Kick My Son in laws Chevy 454 Dullie

Ok IM back had a few hard days of wrenching on the old John Deere pull tractor the twins are real close to being done we are putting together one more componentif it works the we will install it and do some testing the system will be set up for 55 Lbs of boost there should be no lag to speak of (no smoke either) I hope to have the system done by April 7 at Brandons I need to put in a new fuel system also I hope this week I can order the Turbos once my system is installed and tested I will let everyone know price and availability the first systems may just be the turbos and no plumbing but the plumbing is the easy part I want to cast all the plumbing parts so they are right then send it all as a kit. How does the twin turbo system work? Does one turbo feed the other??? If one of you can explain this I would appreciate it. I am very interested in this set up for my new truck.

I love the idea of twins... woo-hoo #ad
relatively smokeless overfueling!
Maybe Marco could burn a TT specific map...
I foresee major weight loss in my back pocket!

I am interested in knowing which turbo and size is being fed by the engine and what is the size of the secondary? How is the whole thing plumbed togrther-HVAC if you could tell me your specs and plumbing routes you did it would be great.

The twin setup works as follows the bigger turbo gathers the air and feeds it to the smaller turbo which is on the manifold this is how they work it is called a staged system we are working also on a 12 valve setup Wiz1

Hey Wiz... I was hoping to maybe get a response to my post above... but I can see that you have been busy. For someone like myself that is difficult (with the pacbrake and all) would you see any benefit if I put a smaller twin turbo setup on my truck? I was thinking like dual HX-35's? Running either a 14cm2 or a 16cm2 housing on the front turbo and a 12cm2 housing on the turbo connected to the manifold. Does something like this sound feasible or beneficial?

Thanks

Kev

Hey Kevin the way twins work that is not possible doing that will turn your engine into a plugged up mess the exhaust would never flow running twins could be a problem if you want to keep the brake unless someone makes a 5" e brake we should have some info this week I hope as soon as I know something I will post it

Kev,
Just a note. The 4" Brake needs compressed air to be operated. Pac does make a brake though. They told me that anything 4" and larger needs a compressed air system to operate it. I asked them because I am in the same boat you are. Oh well, one must make sacrifices in the pursuit of power.
