Competition September 11th at Atlanta Dragway

Competition Went to Atlanta Dragway yesterday

My twins are almost done being fabricated. Now the details come in.

On the supply line to the stock turbo the fitting appears to have a restricting orifice that is much smaller than the line feeding it. The hose I had made to supply the BHT3B does not have such a restriction. Do I need to restict it so that it will not overrun the drain ?

If I want about 50#'s of boost, what opening pressure do I set the external waste gate at. Right now I am planning to set it very low and increase it as I get data back from testing.

Thanks

Dennis

I would think not. My drain line is 3/4" in diameter. The supply line is a -6. I would think the 3/4" drain is more then enough for flow.

As for the waste gate... I am not running an external.

Thanks for the input. I won't worry about the supply and drain then. I am planning to leave the 'boost elbow fitting' off the 35 and run the through fitting. I know that wastegate is pretty small, it will be interesting to see how much if any it interacts with the external wastegate.

Thanks again.

Dennis
