I'm going to start working again for an RV delivery agency, and I know I want a set of compounds.

Some of these competition chargers are getting so big it seems like theres a set of twins under the hood with a diesel engine bolted on as an accessory. I know I can't spool an HT4B or a Big Bro' with a VP-44, so.....

... what size exhaust housing should I run on my big charger, an HT3B, and what size injector's for towing 16,000 lb. fifth wheel triple slides uphill? DD 3s or Supermentals, BD IVs or what?

Truck is a 24 valve 2001 HO 6 speed. All prepped for twins up to 80 psi, (which it will never see) and the little charger will be a PDR HX-40, Con FE clutch. Schied Competition pistons with Total Seal Rings and a PDR cam with Van Haisley Fire rings and Head Studs. FASS.

Got the chargers, just need advice on housings and injectors. I could care less about lag time, I just want to cruise down the highway with EGTs a distant memory.

Thanks, Brian.

Don't buy anything other than EDM's for your injectors.

I don't know what size you want, but my Mach 3's (rated 125 HP) are OUTSTANDING for low end pull and top end. My EGT's get a little outta control here at 5000', but I'm only running a single KSB1, so that's what causes that.

You've got all that fancy work done to the engine, no reason to inject the fuel through a garden hose (DD3's, etc) when you can do it through a nice mister (EDM's).

Yes, I really like my EDM's. I don't know what size you want to go with, but I know Don M will custom make you a set that are just about any size you want. You should probably talk to him about your setup and what you want to do/what you have, and let him tell you what size he thinks you need. I'd say with twins that size, something between M2's and M3's, maybe as big as M3. 5's.
