Competition Advice on External Wastegate on Twins

Maybe tuesday, UPS didn't show up friday. Always the little things that hold you up. But i did go back and modify the exhaust housing and wastegate, and wrap the hot pipe. I didn't realize how small a HX-35 Compressor wheel was until now. I have always set them to the side and just bolted on a B1. I may put a HX-40 compressor wheel in later.

There in, But snow has put a stop to testing or i should say playing for today. So far 52psi. 1300egts

A few dyno pulls today baseline was edge comp 5x5 SAE470hp. 933tq. 5mins. later plugged in edge drag 5x5 SAE493hp. 932tq.

More wastegate tuning, 3rd pull tq was up 22ft-lbs. 4th pull i aborted run tq was up 72ft-lbs. more i think she would have made 520hp? All dyno pulls with Don M. . mach 3s

OPoole when you say waste gate tuning did you open it earlier or later? It looks like you have an internal wastegate on the secondary turbo only is that correct? I found on the dyno the earlier you open the waste gate the better but on the road it can be a different story.

The truck only had a 60psi. gauge, it pegged the gauge instantly i didn't want to blow his head gasket. Thats why i aborted the run . it was making real good power, i will let him take the truck back next time. to see what it will really do with a 100psi boost guage.
