well a year later and thousands dumped into the toy. took the truck down to the strip and launched a turbo. first run ran put of power at top end should of lifted but didn't. just before the lights it popped. so called big brother spit the exh wheel out. glad it did not go through the wind shield all most separated the exh from the cartarge. i will post pics later. so here is the set up so they say. ksb1, big brother and a 38mm tail waste gate. the big turbo reaching over 60 psi and the bi dumping at between 80-100 psi. heavy soot all the way down the track and the water meth not keep the temps down. i was told that the big turbo was not a big brother. who can you trust when buying turbos. i am sick of spending money on turbos that people say that work. where can i find some info to figure this stuff out for my self i wouldn't feel so bad if blew them up from the info i came up with. has any one used turbonetics chargers. i rather spent 6-7 grand for some thing that works then 3-4 grand for something that runs once.

The most boost I've ever seen out of my B/B is 40! I'd say that it was just spinning too fast. Having a gate in the hot pipe to dump to the down pipe would slow it down then you could work the B-1 as I'd bet it's not doing much.

I second that! That is one interesting rig, what kind of ETs do you see with that thing??

don't know what they are from that is the problem. here goes another $4000 or more. who has the best price on turbos. and who can i trust. i am looking for a big brother and a B1 Steroid. the truck has a B1 quick spool i think but who knows. had a vender set me up with this set up a year ago. it was supose to be a good set up at that time. but as you can see he was wrong. now the question is can i still use the quick spool or will it restrict the exhaust to much. and will it cause me to loose power. i think it is going to cost me power. and the next problem is i ran out of money this year.



the truck ran 12. 53 at 106mph 1. 62 60' it ran out of power at 1/8th mile i was ****** so i stayed in it. real heavy black soot all the way down the track. making 100 psi of boost and the water meth not doing anything. the truck has a lot left to give up if i can burn all of the fuel.



now on the street it had no lag came right up and ran real strong but it would pin the egt guage. i should of checked the drive pressure but i didn't get around to it. at night you could see flames shoot out of the stack. :-laf

Evil if your interested in the B1-BB set-up give Ken Diaz a shout at Turbo Auto Diesel... ..... But I feel you'd be happier with a different choice of twin set-ups... .

The small turbo is a KSB1-2 I know it was my turbo 2 years ago and it came from Ken Diaz at TAD. I sold it to someone who sold it someone. Check your small turbo comp wheel for damage from big turbo. Be gald to help on new TAD turbos B1s BB.
