Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Two thumbs up for valve adjustments!

Just wanted to thank all fellow TDR'ers who gave the details for valve adjustments on a 24v. It was a snap to do on my 99 2500 and it really does make a difference. I had only 2 intakes that were close to . 010. All the rest of the intakes and exhaust were waaay off. You can feel the difference at idle and is smoother at highway speeds. A really effective no-cost way to improve performance.

im a newer member kind of interested in the valve adjustments let me the specs and ill give it a try

I guess I'm a little surprised that the valves were that far out and the adjustment made that much difference. Good to know.

My truck is coming up on 100K miles and I'll just do the valve lash early (not due 'till 150K).

I did mine around 150000 and they were all still within specs.
