Vavle argument? Rack that one up with air filters and oil... .

If you look at an indy car or F1, you'll find 4 or 5 valves per jug. As they have to run through an RPM range.

If you look at Dragsters, like Pro Bikes, you'll find 2 valves per, even on Jap motored bikes that started life with four valves, but those engines opperate at HIGH RPMs and that's were they make power.

All things being equal, a road going diesel that doesn't rev all that hard is likely more efficient in a 4v configuration than an otherwise comparable 2v set up.

Hard to compare the Rams as other changes came into play with the advent of the 4v head, electronic engine management, etc.

I am guessing that the ultimate 24 valve would be one with the P7100 pump and twin turbos with all of the other goodies. The valves on the 24 (compared to the 12 valve) who will flow more air? Just because you add more dosen't mean that it will flow more air-does any one know the displacement value when the valves are open?
