Nothing like some homework before having 2 cents to offer!!!
Not taking sides or making accusations, just wish more people would take some time and leave out there own opinion out and facts in.
Again no fingers pointed (I too get caught up in the heat of... ) just saying, NO Substitute for knowledge

Thank you Bob for taking time to further all of our knowledge

I agree that we should all do our homework. I am very glad Bob did his home work and looked around to see what he could find. I have a hard time with the fact that so much stuff is made in china these days simply because the quality is not there. Maybe some day it will but for now its just not. The only homework I have to go on is the filter I purchased and what it says right in the side of it. By all means prove me wrong because I would be much happier knowing that dodge is not using made in china products.

Like I said above, I respect Bob a lot and if I post a question I usually hope he is one of the people that throws out a suggestion because he certainly is one of the most knowledgeable on the forum.

I also would like to thank Bob for looking into this. I realize he has spent some time trying to get to the bottom of the filter issue. Thank you Bob!

That is not the 6. 7 oem filter. They are orange, have the flow ratings printed on the outside pleats you have been had

If that is the case, I now have lost some of my trust for the dealer.

Thanks for all your efforts and information. From this point forward if I go to the dealer and if I don't see the orange and the flow rating I will not accept the filter. I can only assume the dealer is pulling a fast one on service parts.

What took you so long?

Here's a pic of the proper Mopar airfilter.

It took the dealer to sell me an air filter to screw me! I generally don't bring the truck to the dealer unless it warranty work, the rest I do myself. The only filters the truck has seen since new has been fleetguard, this one air filter was the only time I used a dealer filter. But that pic is the same as the fleetguard thats in there now.

Geno's Garage always has the correct filters, just order a box of whatever you will need and the Brown truck brings it to your door, very simple
