I am trying to get the Prodigy controller figured out today and I can't find the plug for the plug'n'play harness. I can't imagine I don't have the wiring under there somewhere considering what the original owner bought the truck for.

Thanks!

It's there ,left side of steering column, blue plug. Look at the plug that came with your ownersmanual to get an idea what it looks like

I wish it was as easy as looking at the factory plug. The truck has 280,000 miles and I am not the origional owner. Things like that are long gone if they were ever there to start with.

I am talking about my '95 if that helps because I can't find anything under there to save my life.

I just found this from anotehr post.

"The 95's w/the trailer tow package did not have the "plug". When I installed my Prodigy in my 95, I did locate the "brake" wire, which is there. I just don't remember what side of the fire wall I found it on. You will have to hard wire

the power & ground, it is not a "plug & go" with the 95. "

DAMN DODGE

There is a blue wire under the dash on the door side of the steering column. It's the brake wire. It was a little hard to find on mine because it was in a bunch of wires. It should have a tag on the end that is not connected to anything.

I can't find that wire either. I did tap into the brake switch right by the pedal for the signal, but would rather use the designated wire. On my truck which should be the same as yours there is a large group of wires that are all taped up that go up into the instrument cluster area. Then there is another large group that goes into a box lower down, which has a white plastic cover over it. I am guessing the wire I want is mixed in with the lower box wires. Without a trailer I can't see how things are working but I will pick that up tomorrow and see if it works. Right now all I get is n c or no connection.

It was in a clump of wires close to the fire wall. If the truck didn't come with a factory hitch it may not have the wire. If you have the service manual the wireing diagram will show you where the other end of the wire connects.
