Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) up down shift at 45mph

i have a 99 dodge 4x4 with auto trans a few years back i had an issue with the truck shifting up and down at about 45 mph making very hard to maintain that speed . when i ask about it at dealership was told to clean battery terminals. i did and has never again been a problem. has anyone ever had this happen and was it cured by same remedy

That and good clean grounds everywhere, plus I installed the DTT noise filter. See my signature.

No issues since I did that a few years ago.
