GM I-4 Timing Chain question

As some of you know John's been battling some medical problems, and finally had his surgery Dec 12th.

I'm happy to report that hes home now (released today) and working on recovery. Hes not out of the woods yet but hes getting closer.

I'm not going to say anything else about it in detail unless he wants to when he gets on, he's gonna try to get on the internet in the next few days.

So if ya would wish him a speedy recovery!

John, I hope that by the time you read this, you'll be feeling a great deal better. Have a nice recovery and get back to smelling diesel fumes.

Jerry

John. . the best to you and your family during the recovery period... good thing you have a nice family to support you and a whole lot of gearhead friends pulling for ya.

Get Back On Your Wheels!

Gary and I stopped by Floor It's place on the way back from Muncie. Great shop John!

Hope your surgery is successful. You need a dryer climate I think. Maybe the central California atmosphere would be medicinal for you. If that won't do the we will go to death valley for the winter. No natural moisture there. We will have to drink a lot of beer, how dreadfull:rolleyes:

Thank you guys, its been really rough since surgery. I cant take very much pain med, do to other side effects on the lung. It will be all worth it in the long run. I've got another months worth of pain and suffering and then things will be much better. Again Thank You guys!!

John

Standing The Test

Those that have a christian foundation know and understand the concept of being tested while on earth. The biblical figure Jobe is a good example. While I guess we all are tested to one degree or another, I believe it's you tough guys that have your resiliency tested most. Us jello heads wouldn't be much of a challenge. Like pulling the wings off of a bug. On the other hand, you are a pillar of granite that will stand the test of time ;) Although you are only one, you will inspire many.

Don't forget... Dec 27th ... . me and Kerry & Aubree are coming down. Be leaving here between 12 and 1pm.

Sent you an email.

John - I don't know who you are but that doesn't matter -- I'll keep Ya' in our prayers and I hope all turns out well !!!!

Remember , the good Lord will never give you more than you can handle... ... ..... Thomas

John,

My prayers and thoughts are with you. I know it is tough to adjust to the "recuperation" routine, just give yourself time and it will soon be behind you. Good luck, and best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

Well he had a setback and went to the hospital Thursday night with fluid build up, but they told him this might happen. But hes doin ok... ... . I think hes still in the hospital tho (over the weekend).

The good news... ... no sign of infection when they drained the fluid.
