Diesel Thunder was the first dyno run with the PDR cam but before that I also installed a PDR modified HX-40 w/ 18. 5cm housing. The sweet thing about this combo is that with the cam it spools as quick as my modified PDR-35 w/16cm housing with a better mid and top end. loss of EGT's is noticeable and the driveability is exceptional. I also put a laser cut set of delivery valves in before dynoing (lots of fuel) I still run cooler than before The #'s I ran (500. 2 hp) were the highest to date for me and with the lowest EGT's(for my truck) to date
We also went to the drags I ran a 14. 4 @99. 7mph this is in a 7800lbs 4X4 w/3. 5"of lift and 35" tires and a 5spd (this time can be improved w/some driver training
) the impressive part about this is I made it almost through the 1/4 before hitting 1500 on the pyro (it was a cool eve aprox 65deg) the other few times I've drag raced I would hit 1500 about the 1/8 mile or a little after that and have to run the rest of the 1/4 with the pyro pinned or back out. With the current set up I'm not really lacking any fuel (the comment was made after I hit the 1/8 my truck could'nt be seen through the smoke
) so to actually run cooler w/more fuel and more hp I still can't find a down side to the PDR cam. I certainly will keep looking though.
