Glad things went well for ya Steve. Now I will have to call ya something else besides "The Gimp". The bright side to the story is you can work on your truck now.

Dumper boy might cause something to fly off your truck or start a picket line at your next race. :-laf

Just got home guys. Hard to believe the surgery was a little over 24 hours ago! Things went great! The pain, numbness, & lack of control in my left upper back, shoulder, arm & hand was 100% gone the second I woke up. My neck is a bit sore - gee imagine that ;) - not bad though. I'm 1000% better than I was before the surgery. Both of the surgeons I saw ended up doing the surgery - my main surgen and the guy I went to for the 2nd opinion. So I had two orthopedic surgeons that have done 100's of these working on me. They are very happy how everything went. Now the wait is to see if the fusion takes - 9 out of 10 take. Will have a follow up in a couple weeks. Thanks for all the well wishes. Just thought I'd pop in real quick and give ya'll an update.

Will you be able to play the piano now?

Awesome news from my neck surgeon - all healed!

Had a follow up visit with my neck surgeon yesterday from my December spine surgery. Last time I saw him was in april and it wasn't fused at that time. Yesterdays x-ray shows it as fully fused all the hardware is good and tight and he lifted all restrictions!! I was really sweating it during the hour and a half wait that it wasn't going to be fused and I would have to go through it again. He told me with the way its healed that in 2-3 months I could be cleared to play full contact football at MSU (which WON'T be happening ). Time for a day long ride!!

Geeze, and I thought it was a Cummins transplant? :D

Now that you're back, I suppose they will have to clean it up over on the Political Forum. :-laf

Good to hear you are doing well. Oo.
