That should be the big screen. Scroll down until there are commercial vehicle settings.

If you have the large gauge cluster screen, which you should with a Laramie, it's on that screen.

I presume we are talking the AUX1-AUX5 on the lower console, correct?

My understanding is the auxiliary switches are auxiliary switches and the upfitter module is a upfitter module. You can have either or both. My truck has both and are listed as stated above on the build sheet.

The auxiliary switches maybe accessed through the 8.4 radio on higher trim trucks. I know they are accessed through the 3.5 evic and not the 5.0 radio on my Tradesman.
Once you find the commerical settings, it requires a pin to open.

Yes they are aux switches, but are listed in the upfitter guide and wiring guide so I’ve seen them called upfitter switches a few times. Not many pickups have the VSIM, have you used it for anything?

The only place to access the aux switches on my Laramie is thru the EVIC, there aren’t any options on the 8.4.

The VSIM doesn’t have any access on the dash or radio, AFIK.

No, haven't used the upfitter module. Doubt I ever will. Truck didn't come with PTO option, which I found odd as it has the aux switches and upfitter module. It was a dealer stock truck.
I have looked at all the functions it is capable of. Pretty cheap option for what all it is capable of. Believe it was $375.

There are a ton of thing’s it can do! I’ve read up on it, but not sure I’d have a use for it either... unless I just wanted to use it.

Yes Aisin. It does provide a 12+ output during regen. I could always put a little led somewhere to see when it regens. I never know when it's in regen.

I thought all Aisin’s were PTO ready, or are they simply PTO capable and must be prepped?

The LED wouldn’t be a bad idea. I do like seeing when I’m in regen with my CTS2.

Gotcha. As @EZeis pointed out they are called auxiliary switches, but the dealer should know other common terminology.

Do the Aux switches light up when pressed?
