Trailer Wiring Problem (HELP!)

Anyone out there got an opinion (be gentle) on V-tec Raptors in 18" x 9. 5" and 325-65 tires on an "04? I still have some measuring to do for myself. I run 315's on the stock 17" steel and 2" level kit. I guess the easy answer will be if someone else has done it.

With all the threads on; "will this tire/wheel fit on my truck", I think I might try a scientific approach and try to model tire swing and travel and see if any real numbers work out of it. And no I'm not a rocket scientist.

Which raptors? Chrome, Matte Black, Phantom Black, or machined face Gloss black?

What brand tire?

The wheels themselves are mediocre in quality, but look pretty good in a chrome or polished. I'd wager you'd get a little rub at full lock against the back fender well, and may catch the bottom, inside rear of the front bumper when rubbing the inner fender well. The bumper can be trimmed a little, as well as the front part of the well liner. If you can live with that, don't forget they'll stick out past the fenders 1-1. 5", and throw dirt and mud down the side of your truck. Your rocker panel will always be muddy. I personally, don't have a problem with that, and usually build some nice tubular steps to keep the mud down.

I've used some of the Dick Cepek and Helo wheels in 18" on Dodges and Fords... .

Phantom Black. BFG tire. I also want to look at other tire options for that rim size, so down the road I don't have to be married to one brand over another. I plan on doing a fender extension. Thanks for the feedback.

My American Eagles,18 x 9. 5 5 1/2" backspacing, rubbed with 325/60/18 Toyo AT's. The outside edge of the tire contacted the rear of the fender right at the bottom, that was with a 2" level kit.

I believe the 325/65/18 will rub alot. I have 18 x 12. 50 Toyo MT's now, with a 4. 5" lift, the outside edge of the tire sometimes catches the air dam under the front bumper.
