Did you get your box on yet? How is it running? Do you like it? How has it affected your EGT's at cruise and WOT?



Still waiting for mine to come. Thats what happens when you live in BFE... .

I got mine installed and put 300 miles on it over the weekend. wow how sweet that is, holy cow! I found it to be both 'unobtrusive' and 'powerful' my truck is totally stock at the moment and I was very impressed with driveability. you dont really know the box is there unless you get on it. then watch out.



I didn't really put it through the paces because I am gauge-less at the moment. But I wanted to test driveability and fuel economy. over the 300 miles I detected no change in mpg, over the same run over the blue mountains. I get about 17. 3 over that run, empty running 65.



The other thing I noticed was that the cruise control is even more solid than before. holy cow, the spedo doens't move at all.



Also: any of you out there heasitate to touch that ECM connector? oh my goodness that is an easy install. the connector itself is anything but fragile or tempermental. mechanically it is very solid, very easy to remove. its a total breeze. hats off VA, you did a good job.





So first impressions; this is an excelent driving box. smooth, unobtrusive power. I can't wait to work it.



next step is to test stacked with the VA level 1 (pressure box).

Love mine too but I've got to find a way to get the EGT's down on level 2 so that I can play more!

Anybody put one on a 600 and getting better mileage? I stopped by the dealership next to my house and a mechanic came out to talk to me. i told him i can't break 14 for mpg and he said that is all the emissions stuff they programmed in the truck. Told me to put a edge ez on and my mileage would go way up. i tried a buddy's ez last week and it seemed to go up some but didn' t have it long enough to really test it.

I have burned up 3 tanks now and I have seen a 1. 1mpg change. Nothing major but a little help. I think it will pick up a bit more once my foot gets use to the box (and lightens back up).

:-laf :-laf :-laf Yea right, wait till the injectors and turbo come then you will lighten up too. Get used to seeing 25,000 from tires too!!!!!!

I've stacked the pressure and the duration box together. the result is completely drivable. lots of smoke while the turbo is spooling up. .



I'm working on the dyno piece, but $$ stare me in the face a lot. trying a University that I attended, and haven't made contact there yet.
