va map sensor round or square

I in the process of buying a va cpc but the company want to know if the map sensor is round or square. I think it round. The guy at the company that knows in on vacation. 2002 2500 4x4:{

Mine's an '01. 5 and it's square, the earlier years they were round,I think thats how it worked, so I'm gonna' say your '02 is probobly square. You can look to make sure, it's in the head just rear of the fuel filter, just below the injector lines. Hope that helps.

I am remembering bits and pieces of the '02 having a different type of MAP connector than the 98-00 and the 00-01. Yes, I mean that there is a third type of connector. I remember the EZ was not shipping because they could not get the connectors. I may be all wrong here, but you should look into it and save the hassle of sending the box back.

VA and MAPP sensor

The VA I just put on my 01 hooks only to the pump not the mapp sensor. Does VA have a new box? My boost module hooks into my mapp sensor and it is oval.

Eric, yes the new VA has a boost module built in. Been out for a while now.
