Good morning all,
My 2500 with 218k miles and 5400hrs was running fine. Doing some preventative maintenance over the weekend, I elected to replace the MAP sensor with a new one from Geno’s. The old one was cleaned three times before. Within 3 miles of driving, the MIL came on with a P2281 code. I’ve double checked my work, and all air intake connections and tubes, and don’t see or hear anything.
Anyone else ever have this happen?

Check your wiring connections again to ensure that the connection is tight and there are no lose wires/pins.
Thanks for the reply, Jim.
I’m a little embarrassed to admit that after checking the physical items, I noticed that I ordered the part for the wrong model year range. Cleaned the old one as best I could and it’s back to normal. Ordered the CORRECT part. Gotta use my glasses more often ;)
