As my truck approaches 90k do I have to get valves adjusted? Just wondering if there is an interval

Check your owners manual. Suggested interval for first valve adjustment is 150k. Don't remember for sure if following adjustments fall in at another 150k or sooner, but first one is at 150k.

I would REALLY recommend checking them! Some of the guys have said theirs were right on at 100k. Mine looked like they had been calibrated with a 2X4 instead of a feeler guage!!! The truck ran MUCH quieter after adjusting the valves!

Most guys do it at 100K, when I stuffed my Mach's in at 80 I checked em and they were good. If you have the cover off, why not check em? :D
