I'm looking for max parameters of Boost on the VGT Turbo. I posted on the 4th gen, since I have an 11', but don't think too many are running anything but stock. Can anyone give me an idea of a
Max Boost for the VGT without destroying it. I appreciate any info/experience anyone may have.

Thanks

I am driving a 2008 Ram with the 6.7L Cummins with the VGT on this truck. I am using a Smarty S67 with a Boost gage, I am keeping the boost pressure under 35PSI all of the time. I am not really worried about the VGT failing do to boost pressure, as blowing a head gasket on the 6.7L engine. It seems like high boost pressure especially the drive pressure will cause a head gasket failures. You can spend maybe another $700+ to added ARP head studs and a new head gasket but by keeping the EGR cooler on my truck and keeping the Boost pressure under 35 PSI I have been good.

Thanks for the input Jim. I'm well aware of the head gasket problems. If you don't mind me sending you a pm, I think I have come up with a final setup, where I don't have to worry about the head gasket.
