I checked in the search area b ut came up with little, today coming home from work my truck started vibrating really bad,it was coming from the engine. I get home and find the vibration dampener is loose sooooo I try to tighten the bolts not happening. It looks like the center section has separated but I havent gotten it off yet to be sure. Is there something i'm missing has anyone ever seen this happen before? Any suggestions on a replacement.

I've seen on other eng. , & have read here that some of the Cummins owners have had that problem , as long as its bad [ if it is ] then your best choice may be one of the liquid filled balancers , I've looked at & read about , but probably will not add one unless mine goes bad , if your going for high RPMs & HPs , thats where there most useful , but as a replacement [ if its needed ] thats the best time to upgrade .

yeah its broke the whole center section was broken out of it. I am thinking about a fluid damper any suggestions on who has the best price.

thanks for responses, I am fixing this and then going truck shopping every other week its something new! I found a sweet 06 3500 I may go look at.

If it is wobbling you need to inspect it. If may be the bolts but more thean likely it's the balancer. Look around on the net for Fluidampers if you want a good damper without spending major bucks. They vary in price by a $100 or more and look fr free shipping $25.
