This truck belongs to Terry Coppess from Haisley machine (haisleymachine.com)

This is the top truck in street class pulling as we speak.

Maybe I should change that to "one of the top trucks".

Terry has won alot this year though, and did win Muncie's street class.

3 out of the 6 trucks you listed are Haisley trucks.

--Justin

Did i count right, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 2nd, spinout?

Haislys definatly have something figured out on those autos to get those trucks pulling that well. Looks good

Was he running a propane system on that rig, cuz I swear I saw a poof of flame come out the stack when he the sled stopped him? If not propane, then what else would cause fire out the stack? Nitrous?

Great looking run BTW. Does anyone know what his engine set-up is as well as drive train?

No propane.

What you are seeing is pure diesel, and alot of it.

12 Valve Cummins, single turbo (dont know what kind), custom ladder bars.

auto w/ATS Triplelok converter.

Hey Funderburg- you willing to put that eep machine of yers against ol Coppess?? And yes it is toughest street class truck in the country.

After looking at this years results.

Yeah, Terry's truck is top dog in the street (NO ADAPTERS OR DRILLED EXHAUST HOUSINGS!)

Lets see here...

He finished 1st Thunder in Muncie, 1st London OH, 2nd Tampico IN, 1st Otwell IN, 1st Logansport, 1st Peru IN, 2nd Stanford, 4th Rising Sun, 1st Greenfield, 1st Wabash In, 1st Rochester, 4th Tipton, 1st Brownstown, 2nd Nashville In.

Thats just this year, and its not over yet!!

I guess Indiana trucks are ruling the roost!!

Funderburgh, who rules in the open?

Man guys, you gettin your panties all up in a bunch or what? I didnt even say a word, just posted some results. :) All i was saying was i dont know if there is one truck that is "THE" top truck. Maybe there is and maybe it is terry's truck but thats a bold statement to make. It is one of the best auto pulling trucks that i know. Justin you had it figured out in your first reply but then must have felt embarased or something.

Hey Daile (I cant spell your name cause you cant spell mine)- I'll put EEP truck up against yours any day of the week. :-laf

That's fine Funkinburg, you bring your eeper truck and I'll bring mine. It is running like **** this year, but I ain't scared. What hell, bring your Duramax and I'll have my wife bring hers. And like I said said, Coppess is the top street class truck in the country.

You forgot the locked converter in there!

Does Haisley build the transmission's then use that converter or just buy hole units?

Jim

My opinion: Scheid rules the open, Haisleys are right behind them.

I am not a cheerleader.

I just give credit where it is due.

--Justin

I would love to know how their trannys are set up.

Locking the converter in 1st?

I wonder how it drives on the street, does it keep that turbo spooled?

Is it a REAL daily driver?

Thanks for the post Justin! You're right, Terry has been doing good this year.

And as you pointed out, he is using the ATS TripleLok transmission! So much for

everyone thinking that the ATS transmissions can't put the power to the

ground! I guess Terry has shown that they surely can!
