Well gentleman the time has come for me to upgrade my spotting scope. I was watching two NICE bucks working down a canyon last weekend but as light was fading, so was my vision. It was fuzzy past 500yds as well. I'm currently using a Burris Landmark 20-50x that i picked up a few years back when i just wanted to get an entry level small scope. Now i'm looking for something that can get me easily out past 1000yds and still count points. After A LOT of reading i'm leaning towards the Vortex Nomad. Does anybody have any experience with them? They supposedly have an outstanding unconditional warranty and very respectable build and glass. Now obviously i'm not expecting Swarovski or Leicha but this seems to be a quality unit for the price. Any input, or a comparable unit? I want to keep it under $500. Thanks!
