Well the ESPAR heater is off so I have much more access into the upper starter motor area :).

All the leaks are repaired that the Dodge Dealer created and the Glacier Diesel Power GFS-392 is installed with the fat line between the fuel filter housing and the VP. The truck is running good and getting 20. 4 on average mpg combined city/hywy use.

Truck is back and had a nice test.

I got my truck back after the dealer messed with it over a three week period. They treated me well. After I got to talk to the mechanic (third trip in), we hashed over the potential causes. First they put in the new lift pump in the tank with new wiring, next came a new turbo because the wastegate was trashed (stuck open?? still had plenty of boost??), next came a new VP44. The new VP 44 fixed the dead pedal and smoke/no power on startup. The down shifting must have made the computers talk to each other?

It is so good to have it back the way I remembered it. I took a trip from near Wichita, KS to near Omaha, NE over the weekend. My POWER is back and the mileage is back. I still love this truck!

When the warranty expires, I plan to add the GDC pump with the big line kit to the IP and maybe a Superchips tuner.

Fuel Pressure Gauge is in today and almost 18psi at idle. I can't draw the GFS 392 any lower than 15psi under any conditions. I should have put this gauge in when the truck was new. Still getting over 20mpgs and running good :) .
