Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 and Lift Pump...

Need to know how good of a deal I am getting on this. Injection pump rebuilt by Bosch. New lift pump, all parts installed in 2 hours for $1730. 00. I didn't think that was bad... I work in the oil field 7 days a week. I could do it myself, but I don't have time. Please let me know if you know of a better deal around Abilene Texas. Thanks.

Definitely one of the better deals - that has been runng lots of guys closer to $2500 at dealerships.

I am in a position to get "the price" a garage would get sub contracting that job out, 'cause I priced my own, could only beat you by $150 bucks give or take..... dun good I think, they did not rape you, I had bids up to $2500 also...

I am taking it to Abilene Diesel Injection they told me 2 hours max. He also stated that they install about 30 + vp44's a month. lots of Dodge CTD out here in Texas

SH*% replacing mine took me like 6 hours and I still didnt get it running until the next day granted that was my first time replacing one too
