2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Vulcan Lift Pump Relocation Kit

Can anyone give me feedback on the Vulcan Life Pump Relocation Kit I purchased from Geno's Garage. I installed my kit recently along with a new stock lift pump (Carter). A friend of mine installed one on his truck and his injection pump still failed.

Well, it doesn't fix a dieing pump, it might just prolong its life a little.
The relocate kit makes life on the LP a lot easier, and it gives the VP a higher and more consistent fuelpressure if you also replaced all the stock banjo's.
But VP's ARE going to die, regardless of how much effort we are putting into the fuel system. I have had the kit for over a year now, and I am happy with it

consider adding a shut-off valve. Make's the next change easier...

go for it, my fuel pressure went up 1-2psi at idle and stays at about 7psi at WOT where it would previously dip to 3-4psi

The shutoff valve is a great idea -- I'll do it as soon as I can get the parts.

I know this is an old thread, but I just did this mod yesterday, and it's really slick. I figured that as long as I was installing my 4th lift pump it would be a good time to relocate it, too. Now, when I inevitably put the 5th one on, it'll only take about 5 minutes!

Can't believe post #4 is four years ago but I'm dropping my tank for a draw straw and fass ddrp pump. Since I moved the OEM pump to the rail it's worked fine (50k?) but it's starting to make more noise so I bought a FASS ddrp to replace and I'll try to figure out how to mount the ddrp bracket on a short bed. I think my shut off valve will have to be removed. The one thing the carter pump had going for it was it's compact size for us shortbedders. I'm lightly bombed and don't need much more than the ddrp.
