I have a walbro 392 and a 15 micron in line pre filter. The temp got down to -20 for the last few days. I filled up and got some bad fuel next morning truck would not build any fuel pressure I took the pre-filter apart and it was clogged with ice cleaned the filter and started the truck ran for about 20 seconds with 12 pounds of pressure and then drop to zero yep filter clogged again so I took the pre filter out, started the truck aging and the same thing happened this time the screen on the walbro clogged. If I get bad fuel again the same thing is going to happen so I was thinking about mounting the Walbro pump after the factory filter and doing a way with the in line filter. Do you think the walbro would work very well pulling fuel instead of pushing it? I’m hoping that the engine heat and the factory fuel heater will keep the pump from icing up.
