Have you done this yet and if so any performance improvement? I know you have lotsa gages and can back up your testing.



My oldest son ('06 standard transmission w/lotsa power) installed a Banks intake elbow with the larger intercooler outlet pipe and says it helped his boost 5 psi. I scoffed at him and he swears and be damned that it did.



Also have you ever tested the before and after intercooler boost numbers. I know it varies based on intercooler and boost numbers but any first hand testing on this?

I just did a before and after intercooler boost comparison on my '01. With both gauges from BD and both with 0-60 psi dial, there is no difference. At 10, 20 and 30 psi they are both the same. I was surprised because I have always heard and assumed there was a loss but not with my power levels. I also figured with the boost elbow removed for the test (I used the orifice for boost testing) I would have a little more boost, but none. So I guess 30 psi is all the fuel that I have.



So based on this test, a super duper huge intake horn will not help me
