I'm looking for a reputable Ram fleet dealer in the DC, northern Virginia, Baltimore area. I plan to replace our 2018 2500 Tradesman. Want to talk to a sales person that knows Rams, not some run of the mill retail sales person who has zero experience.

Thx!

Good luck.
I think you’d be better off researching on your own, and asking about what you’re looking for here, then searching for that package.
May I ask what is it youre looking for?

Aren't the same transfer cases used on the 2500s and 3500s? The transfer case is only a component, cant understand why it wont work. Even if it's a linkage issue, there's a procedure to properly adjust it.

I'm not sure I would stay with a brand if I had the trouble you say you're having.

Good luck, Ron

Murph, go find that thread “transfer case X2” and check it out. Sad story.
Murph, go find that thread “transfer case X2” and check it out. Sad story. Wow, that would make me think about going with another brand for sure, but might get the same results, ive never had a tc problem in 200k miles, and ive hauled pretty heavy for a majority of the miles

I know about the other thread and posted on it. There's a good dealership Waldorf Md, that had great service. It's down rt 5 from DC.

Oh, ok, thought he was thinking he had to get a bigger unit to pull a 14k trailer...isnt an 18 still under warrenty?get it fixed until its out of warrenty

A 14k standard trailer should be fine for a 2500. But a gooseneck might overload the bed? My 2500 can pull 16,350 if it's a standard bumper pull (it won't overload the bed).

My truck has payload of almost 2400 lbs. (It weighs just a tad over 7600 lbs).

Might be the bed was overloaded? Would that change the angle of the drive shafts?
