1 Click "Reader's Rigs" button (upper right grey oval button)

2 Click "Manage Gallery" (top right of user listings)

3 Scroll down to photo you want

4 Click "Forum Codes" under the picture

5 Triple click to highlight a whole code string (they are all the same except for te end of the code which determines size. The 1" is smallest-- 2" is usually the best fit-- 3" is huge)

6 After highlighting (turns all blue) right click and select "Copy"

7 In your reply, click the "IMG" button (in the section below the smileys)

8 Backspace so you have a clear field (wipe out the http:/)

9 Right click and "paste" the code in the box and hit enter

10 Finish writing your reply and submit

Hopefully I haven't left anything out. Of course you have to create your user gallery and have the images in there first to get the codes.

BerylPugh, actually I think the Light Almond looks pretty good. I've seen a couple heavy duty's in that color and they looked good. I'm just not sure how long I could live with it. Same with silver. My current truck is silver, and although I liked the color when I first bought it, now I can't stand it. It's TOO much silver. I like white also but my brother has a white '03 so I couldn't copy him. I like the Deep Molten Red but my 2000 Dodge was Garnet Red so I figured I'd try a different shade. About the only color of vehicle that I haven't owned is Black. Black is beautiful when it's clean, but when it's dirty, IMO, it looks terrible. I'm not one to go and wash my truck all the time, either. Maybe once every few months. I really like the flame red, though. I guess I'll find out how it looks dirty. :)

When you are posting pictures from the readers rigs section, the codes that you get are already formatted with the proper syntax.

You don't have to hit the IMG button or manually type "#ad
... . " all you need to do is copy and paste the HTML image code from the readers rigs into the message body box.

If you are posting a picture from another site... then you would need the "#ad
... . " so that the TDR website understands that the link you typed is a picture that it should be displaying in the message.

Thanks Bighammer..... It's my first black vehicle and my first two tone. The black has been easier to take care of than I expected (after 5 coats of Zaino Bros). I originally did not want two tone, but it was the only truck I could find locally with most/all the features I wanted. The two tone has grown on me and I get a ton of compliments on it.

That Atlantic Blue is growing on me... . but I still can't get over the two-tone... I gotta have the monochrome.

I think this truck looks REALLY nice and is quickly becoming my favorite combo (too bad the picture is such a lousy shot... ):

OK, I'm a toad!!! I ordered the light almond but wife and I liked it. I owned a new black mustang one time and promised myself I would not do that again. I like the white, patriot blue, and the dark garnet also but chose the almond. NOW, I have an additional comment and question. There is a lot of talk about keeping them looking good. I have read a lot about Zaino wax. I am thinking about ordering it but is there something better? I have read about how road tar will wash off after 4 coats of wax, also do any of you that use Zaino also buy the flash cure or is that a waste of money??? All advice would be appreciated. Thanks... .

Patriot Thunder

My vote's for Patriot Blue over Silver. I've had this combo twice.

This is what it looks like polished up on a nice sunny day. . .

I live in a eastern coastal wooded area and have probally spent 4 times the amount of time washing and de-salting (for looks only),than my wife has with her white Grande Cherokee limited. Have a silver Crown Vic. and finally learned my lesson there also (three silver cars and can't keep the paint on them) I would not get another Graphite or dark vehicle as the time spent washing is not worth it ! If the newer silver paint can take the sun I'd go for it , but only in Sport trim. P. S. spent a whole day polishing out briar / twig and even a place were a bird landed after a four day trail ride in West Virginia. (had a case of the clear coat over dark paint blues I guess) White for me next time , Silver maybe. Mark
