Hi, I have a Smittybilt Outland Sport Bumper guard on my truck. I want to install a Warn winch with a Multi mount kit which uses a 2 inch receiver mounted up front. Warn also sells the receiver. Does anyone have any experience with using these two products together and if there is any interference?

Steve-

My guess is that they will interfere since there is really only one good location to mount at the frame/crossmember. In fact, I had a tough time adding the Smittybilt Sport Guard since I had the Mopar Tow Hooks. I ended up discarding the Smittybuilt mounting brackets and tapping the mounting brackets of the tow hooks (since they were stronger) for the install.

I received a fax from central 4 wheel drive (good folks by the way) which details the assembly of the winch mount and the warn front receiver will definately get in the way of the guard. I will probably go ahead and get the winch and install it in the correct position and modify the guard mount to work with it. With the complexity that this interference has caused, this mod will be taking a back seat to the fuel tank/toolbox mod that I am doing next.
