TSB 09-004-01 is likely what you're after even though I can't see where it says anything about "NOT using Fram oil filters".

When I was at the Dealership one day, my mechanic called me over and showed me something from Chrysler about certain oil filters and not to warranty blown engines. They were to call Star and send the oil filter in for analysis.



Fram was mentioned in the document specifically!
