First off I want to say that I am not shocked that Dodge has denied my warrenty, If you would look at my truck you would know that I am not a guy that likes my stuff stock. If DC looked out the window of their office they could deny my warrenty. I like to do what ever I want with my truck, and I am willing to pay for what ever I do or want to do to my truck.
But what is shocking is that when I went to the dealer to have them check with their scan tool to see what cylinder it was. The first thing that showed up was an unknow ECM number? This is caused by a (other than DC) reflash programmer, so I am shocked at that. Because when I talked with Bully Dog (before I bought) I was told that there is no way DC will be able to see any history of the programmer in the ECM. I guess that they were off.
Kbennet- I am not saying that Dodge should cover my motor, but I am saying that I don't care to be lied to by Bully Dog. And I want people to know that if you think that you are safe running a programmer that you better watch out!
And now I will start doing the mods that I have always planned for the truck..... cam, port, new valves, seats, coated pistons..... etc...
Thanks for all of your replies, I will do some posting of my motor build up.
