Every time I use the air conditioner I end up with water in the passenger side floor.

I have tried 4 or 5 times to clean the little tube on the firewall but nothing seems to come out. It even has a little water coming out when the air is on. Just not very much. I have tried to watch to see were the water is coming from but it must be getting in the cab right were the cab and black air box meet. Never see any drips and never gets on hard plastic floor mats no matter how far I push them up under the dash. Even thou the floor fills up with water.

I am open to any ideas or any help, On my last trip I had at least a 1/4 gallon of water on the floor after driving all day.

You got some leaves or somethin pluggin up the hole. See if you can get a shopvac or somethin attached to the hole, may need an extension hose. gotta clean it out.

good luck

Also check your rear window, water will leak in that and end up down by the front passenger floor under the AC. Also I put a tube on the AC outlet in the firewall and then routed it so the hose opening faces rearward on the truck.

thanks, well it didn't rain a drop the day i had the ac on so i will try the tube fix when i get home

i will keep you posted
thanks guy

I have one doing the same thing. If you get it fixed please let us know what you did. I have two that work just fine. The one that is trouble is a 94 and the other are 98 12 valves.

HCannon,

Now you're just braggin' that you have two 98 12 valves... :-laf

In all seriousness, the hose on the end of the ac drain made all of the difference in the world on my 95.

I had the same problem. The drain tube was the solution. I just went to the local parts place and found a 90* hose that fit. Worked great.
