I have replaced the sensor two times because I couldn't get it to close completely and it would drip. Once I had to replace it because the wires were ready to break.
Geno's garage has them and I now carry a spare just in case. Personally, I would not want to lose the WIF indicator.

I just bought a '95 and decided to do some basic maintance. I noticed my Water in Fuel light come on so I changed my filter. Well, the first thing I noticed is that the sensor plug wasn't connected. So I changed the filter and plugged in the sensor and the light went out, for about 1/2 a day and it came back on. So I unplugged the sensor and the light still stays on. Where or what step should I do next to fix this problem? Newbie to these 12V
