My truck is a 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 2500 with the Cummins 5. 9 4x4 .

I went thru the car wash Saturday and Sunday it was raining here and noticed a drop of water on the steering wheel .

So I looked up and saw water on the part that holds the sun visor in place.

Has any body ever had this happen ?

Do you think it's the Windshield or the Marker Lights ?

Thanks

Jim

Many of us has had the same problem, including myself. It is the clearance light that is leaking. There is a TSB for it.

I want to Thanks You Guys for the info .

And were can I find the (TSB) ?

And what did you guys do to fix this problem ?

I took mine apart and found that there are little plastic sealing washers on the screws that hold the lights on that are prone to crack causing the leak. I had two cracked on the passenger side and I would get a few drops of water coming down the passenger side sun visor holding clip.

I replaced them with small rubber o-rings and a little clear silicon, havent had a leak since!

Thank You for that information I will take them apart this weekend.

Thanks alot
