Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Water Methanol Fuel Mileage Gains?

Got a friend wondering what fuel mileage gains he would see if he installed a water meth kit on his 01 24 valve?

I've got the water\meth setup and I wouldn't bank on any measurable mileage gains. I now run mostly water for cool EGT's and a steam cleaned engine. Running the water\meth mix is for fun. I run only distilled water or distilled water and racing methanol. I don't like the idea of squirting anything less into my $10,000 engine (plus $14K in mods).
