On Jan 26th, VeeTenJeff left the Dyno early to look at a few Cummins diesels. He was close to purchasing a dually 6speed HO reg Cab.



Oo.

So, Does anyone know if VeeTenJeff traded in his V10 for a Cummins. Come on , Nosey people want to Know???

Guess what I just found over on the V-10 website (posted by VeeTenJeff):

Well, I finally did it. I'm trading the V-10 in for a HO Cummins 3500. Being that 02 is the last year for the current body style, and they are switching to a common rail injection for next year, I decided to get a diesel. I went with a 3500 reg cab HO six speed. Has all creature comforts except power windows and locks.



I liked my V-10, but it cannot reliably give me the power I want at a reasonable price. This weekend was the kicker when I had to fill up twice and the diesel guys didn't.



I'll be picking up my rig on friday or saturday.

after reading all of the posts i have a question: how do i find the V10 website? i have 2 DODGES one with a Cummins and one with a V10. you know which one gives me the most trouble... ... ... thanks #@$%!

Tis true, I will soon be putting the correct fuel in the tank. Saturday did it for me. I'm sick of the lack of mileage and power. Although I caught BATMAN SLEEPING at the toll booth, he pulled away fron me once he started to ge tthe comp box on. I had to hang my head in shame at breakfast.

On friday or saturday, i'll be getting an 02 3500 reg cab, ETH/DEE ST with most creature comforts except power windows and door locks. I'll have to get used to the lack of a quad cab. Now for most that wouldn't be an issue, but I usually carry enough stuff to rebuild an entire truck.

There you go. Hey congrats man, now you've got a real truck.

Just make sure you look at that pump nozzle very closely the first fill ups, they're usually yellow and they say on them DIESEL
