Thanks, TDR Staff

Please post any load photos that have not been here before. Medium loads and HEAVY or bulky loads pulled by a ram diesel.

I have my gooseneck hitch installed, but need a trailer to pull. Anyone know where to rent a flatbed gooseneck for a couple of weeks? I called U-haul and all of the local rental yards to no avail.

OOOOH! OOOOH!

I remebered to snap a couple pix of my 25 foot, fixed keel, (deep) sailboat in a cradle on my 20 foot flatbed tag. Oo. Oo. Not a real heavy load, (~7k) but looks pretty impressive rolling down the road.

I've got to use up that roll now... .

I have a good picture of my truck and camper towing the woodie on a trailer. I just can't figure out how to attach the picture. any ideas?

This was a pretty good load. You might also check in the "other" forum as there is another similar thread there.

Sheldon, you can start your own album in the readers rigs as I have. you can store your TDR related photos there, then post them on here. Another way is to store them on another site. My ISP (earthlink) allows me to have 5 mb of web space, so I put a bunch of photos on there as well.

Well, let's try this:

It's a 36' triple slide Jayco Designer XL (3610RLTS) 5ver that grosses about 13,500 lbs. We're at 21,180 GCW heading down the road.

Hey Rusty- how do you like your Jayco? We have a Designer 3310 with 2 slides and have been very pleased with ours. Its a 1997 model. The wife wished for a bit more counter space, and maybe bigger access doors to the "basement", but other than that it has been trouble free. Good luck with yours.

Here's ours,,,,,,,,

"RATTLIN" and our 2002 30' Cougar with double slide-outs on the way to TN.

Great - this is our 2nd Jayco Designer 5ver. We started with a 1996 3030RKSS (30' rear kitchen single slide). We had it until 2000 when we bought the current 3610RLTS. Both have given excellent service, and you can't beat Jayco's customer support.

Moving from the 1996 "rear kitchen" to the 2000 "rear living room" floorplan, we gave up a good bit of kitchen counterspace but got the picture windows in the rear and a lot more living space - it makes the interior much more open and airy. Sandy's attitude is that she doesn't go camping to spend all her time in the kitchen, so she really was the one that wanted to make the change.

Good luck with yours.

Thanks, Chuck - good luck to you as well. Maybe we'll get to meet you on the road one of these days. If you haven't already, you might drop in on the forums over at iRV2.com. Lots of good folks and good RVing discussions. I'm RustyJC over there as well, and Sandy (my wife) is Madame Boomer (she coordinates the rallies for the iRV2 Texas Boomers RVing group).

OK, somebody tell me how to post a single shot right into my post, and I'll throw in my contribution. I've got a million digital pictures, but I don't have any idea how to put one in here.

Heres a neat one...

This is a "goat house" that was built for my sister at the local high school. Boy did it push the air down the road.

Bill,

Your picture must reside on the Internet. When you're ready to post it, start with [ IMG], then insert the URL - the address where the picture resides, then end with [ /IMG]. Delete the leading spaces inside the brackets - I had to put them in to trick the forum software.

Rusty

Rusty, I make a gallery in Reader's Rigs and posted a few shots. Then I went through the process of [ IMG] , [ /IMG], but the shot didn't appear in my post. Now what? The gallery is BLee. Bill

Bill,

Take that URL that's showing up in your previous post and put IMG's around it, and it will work. It should look something like this: {IMG}#ad
{/IMG} except you will use the square brackets around the IMG and /IMG - again, I had to use these brackets to fool the software.

Bill,

Well, I can't get it to display, either. For some reason, the TDR gallery isn't letting me locate your image as a jpg file, and that's what the IMG function is looking for. My photo, for instance, resides here:

That text is what's between my IMG and /IMG functions, and it works fine. Go ahead and try putting this text in your post if you want just to test it for yourself and make sure you have the method down.
